I was dicking around on Twitter yesterday when I saw the words rap report card. I had heard of the report card. It warranted a line in Beastie Boys song Sabotage. (Got an A from Moe Dee for sticking to themes.)
Kool Moe Dee declared himself the authority on rap music in the late 80’s. Taking advantage of Moe’s ego trip was journalist Elliot Wilson. Who sent Cool Moe Dee the same template I used.
Here’s Kool Moe D’s second report card as gangster rap took over the hip hop scene.
When I saw this I knew what I had to do.
