The Stink Over Drag Queens Reading to Kids at the Library
Is this something we should be exposing our children to?
Videos of children watching drag show performances are the latest reason for outrage among conservative Americans. One specific video posted by the Libs of TikTok account on social media shows drag performers explicitly dancing at what appears to be an elementary school assembly.
The video in question was an event for new moms stuck at home. If you look closely at the video, you see infants and toddlers with their mothers watching on. Not school age kids.
According to snopes.com the video is from an event in the UK called CABABABARAVE. The events are “aimed at the parents — new mums on maternity leave — providing a much needed ‘night out during the day.”
The truth didn’t stop law makers in 14 states from drafting anti-drag bills. Tennessee is the first state to pass a law that prohibits drag shows in public places where children might see. Meaning by-bye gay pride parade.
